An ice immune is a regular human being who is a direct, though distant, descendent of Ena, the Seraph of Ice. They're partially-divine beings who generally make their home in the Kingdom of Cicle, rarely venturing southward. The name is a colloquial term, as ice immunes rarely refer to themselves as such. To them, they're every bit as human as the rest of us, and they're pretty much correct with two exceptions.
The first exception is that, invariably, every ice immune will be born with white-colored hair. Their bodies, for whatever reason, don't supply pigments for the hair. This makes them easy to spot if they don't dye their hair.
The second exception is that all ice immunes are, as you might come to expect from such a name, fully immune to the effects of ice and cold. Their bodies simply cannot freeze. Their skin will dissolve any ice that comes in contact with it, and they're immune to the effects of frostbite and hypothermia, as well as other things caused by the cold. They can live in an arctic nation such as Cicle without so much as a single protective covering like a coat or a jacket.
Ice immunes can make use of their immunity through the use of Kooruken, a form of martial art as old as the ice immunes themselves.
One weakness they have is a high sensitivity to heat, and a hot place like Emberton can be a deathtrap for such a being. An ice immune who experiences heat develops something called "heat sickness", which tends to drain them of all of their strength. Prolonged exposure to heat can eventually kill an ice immune, so it's important for them to place themselves in a nice, cool place.
